Fire Salamander/Alchemy Shirt
This is the shirt that launched the men's line. This piece originated from enjoying a Robyn
Hitchcock concert and later meeting the man himself. The vision of fire salamanders leaping out
of the alchemical flames of creativity entered my head so strongly that I had to share this
image, especially given his penchant for both writing music with wonderfully surreal images
and for unusual shirts. After a conspiratorial comment on the volatility of fire salamanders
came the sincere encouragement for the shirt to be created.
Fabric Content: 100% 19mm silk broadcloth. This silk has look and feel similar to cotton in
that it has both a substantial weight and a fine, even weave making it perfect for shirts
Care Instructions: Dry clean or machine wash, turning inside out first, gentle cycle, mild
detergent, tumble dry, low setting
Sizing: Shirt is cut loose, meant to be worn untucked. Small, medium, large, XL. Custom
sizing/fitting other than sleeve or body length is available for an additional 18% of the
regular garment cost
